The past 2-3 weeks, I needed another 'blog' break. I've been spending some of that time designing a new bag, which will be ready very soon..YAY! But mostly I've been chillin out with Grant and my dogs, spending time lying on the couch, going for walks, watching some reality tv, and surfing.
There is no set plan here, I am just listening to my gut and working hard when I feel engergized and inspired...and taking breaks when other parts of my life need more attention. So the past few weeks I have been ticking away at a slower pace.
I've been thinking about the last 3 to 4 months, and I felt like I was running on octane. I was powering, I can't believe all the stuff I was balancing!? Wow. It's fall/winter now, and I like to hibernate...so my instincts are telling me to take it down a notch.
I have always been one to embrace change. For example, I love the variety my job gives me...each year I have new students, each day something new and unexpected happens in my classroom. At home, I am always rearranging, everytime my family + friends come over they point out what's moved where. :) With Moxie Shop, and specifically with my Rais Cases...they do not always turn out as I had planned, but this gives me an opportunity to adapt them to find a new way to make them work. In general I have a flexible personality. So, with that in mind I have been thinking about evolving my blog/journal. While the structure I started this summer worked for several months, it isn't working for me now. I am too busy to keep to the same structure. So for the next segment of my blog/journal, I am going to take a more raw approach. Honestly, I am not sure what that is going to look like yet. I want to experiment and see what happens. I want to have fun and enjoy the time I spend on what I am doing...
So for this post, I wanted to share images that fascinate me. Spending an hour exploring online, I can get the same surge of inspiration as I do when I visit NYC. It's strange and amazing. Finding images, artists, ideas, inventions online and having the ability to re-post the ones I feel inspired by is my method for this post.
